Let’s face it, sometimes Disney World can be busy. Like real busy! And all the Genie + , Lightening Lanes & Rope Drop Strategy still makes waiting an inevitable part of your day. Especially during peak travel seasons like Spring Break, Holiday and during the sweltering summer months.

But what if we told you there is a way to skip the line or at least drastically shorten you’re wait time. Like 5 minutes waits on some of the busiest days? You don’t need to pay for Lightening Lanes and you don’t need any VIP tour guide or special pass (just a ticket to be inside the park).

And all you need to do is be inside the park and be at least 7 years or older. Did we mention that this method includes some of the most popular thrill rides inside the parks?

Single Rider Lines at Disney World are an amazing way to cut your wait time while also getting on some of the most popular attractions. If your family or group does not mind riding separately, this is a great way to accomplish more attractions with less waiting time inside the parks. While there is no guarauntee that they will be open all the time, when the parks are very busy they usually are available. Let’s see which attractions at Disney World offer this amazing perk to guests.

Rockin’ Roller Coaster inside Hollywood Studios is an epic indoor, upside roller coaster. It often comes with hefty wait times as well. But the Single Rider Line here got us through a 90 minute wait in 25 minutes on a recent busy holiday weekend. You may miss the cool pre-show but you’ll be hurtling upside down in no time.

Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park the Expedition Everest – Legend of Forbidden Mountain cannot be missed. If you want to race through the Himalayas while being chased by a mythical creature called a Yeti…this ride is for you. The coaster cars are two passengers a piece but there is a single rider line and it moves very quickly.

There is another option if you don’t want to do the Single Rider Line. If you rope drop Animal Kingdom so you can get through Avatar Flight of Passage and want to hop on the Kilimanjaro Safari afterwards, you can always check this attraction later. We have often found lower wait times and have been able to ride multiple times back to back in the morning hours (maybe because this roller coaster is on the other side of Animal Kingdom). But there is a single rider line if that definitely helps decrease your wait on busier days.

Epcot’s Test Track has a Single Rider line and the entrance is easily found right at the front of the attraction next to the Lightning Lane entrance. We’ve found this thrill ride to have very long lines on bisy days so the standby line is a great option however, sometimes there will still be a significant wait once you get inside the queue. Remember, there are no guarantees when it comes to single rider lines.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run also has a Single Rider line close to the entrance. We have found long lines on days when Rise of the Resistance goes down and everyone rushes over.

One thing to keep in mind when using the Single Rider line is you will bypass a lot of the cool views of the Millennium Falcon (an attraction in itself). And you will not get to be the pilot up front as that typically goes to riders who have waited in the standby line or have lightning lanes.
